What is a
A root touch up is a color application, only intended for up to a couple inches of new growth from previously colored hair. This service is a single process and does not reference foils or balayage. If your existing color looks dull, we recommend you add a glaze/shine bomb to this appointment in order to refresh and enhance your all over color look.
Note *If you have new growth from a blonding service you had in the past please book for a highlight or balayage service.
How much does a Root Touch Up cost?
At Salon Vibe, our root touchup service starts at $67 and increases based on the level of stylist you choose and the amount of color needed to complete the service. If your hair is 1-2 inches of new growth it is not common for the price to increase from the base price of a root touch up service.

To keep your color looking fresh, we recommend you to revisit Salon Vibe every 4 to 8 weeks for a root touch up. We also recommend adding a glaze/shine bomb to your appointment so that the previously colored hair can be refreshed as well.
We always recommend using tepid water on your colored hair when washing. Hot water opens the cuticle and allows the color to seep out of the hair strand more quickly. We also recommend using Salon Vibe‘s professional recommendations of retail products for color treated hair to achieve best results of healthy looking hair.
